CS Energy Signs MoU To Acquire Stake In 230MW Wind Project In Australia

News: CS Energy has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with EDF Renewables, a unit of France-based EDF, to support the development of the 230MW Banana Range wind farm project in the Australian state of Queensland. The MoU enables CS Energy to acquire an equity stake and a power purchase agreement for the facility's output. The 51-turbine wind park would come up near Gladstone and is expected to provide electricity to 15,000 homes per annum. Construction works on the project are expected to start in 2024, with operations likely to start in 2026 (Renewables Now).
