RECPDCL Issues Four Tenders For 18GW ISTS In Gujarat, India

News: REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) has issued four tenders for the construction of interstate transmission systems (ISTS) at the Khavda pooling station in the Indian state of Gujarat. The scope of work also includes the construction of the 765kV Khavda Pooling Station 2 – Lakadia – Ahmedabad – South Gujarat/Navsari transmission line. The proposed scheme will be developed under a build, own, operate and transfer model. It is to transfer 18GW of renewable energy (under four 4.5 GW tenders). The deadline for submission of bids is July 8 2022. The projects are scheduled to complete in 24 months (Enerdata).
