      BLM Issues Notice-To-Proceed For Construction Of Wyoming-Utah Transmission Line Project In US

      News: The Bureau of Land Management has issued a notice-to-proceed, authorising PacifiCorp (a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Energy) to start the construction of the Energy Gateway South Transmission line between the US states of Wyoming and Utah (Renewables Now). The proposed 670km-long transmission line will form a link between the Aeolus substation (Wyoming) and the Clover substation (Utah) and it is expected to support the integration of around 2GW new renewable energy. Construction is slated to start in early June 2022 with operations due to start in late 2024 (Renewables Now).
