- 01 Jun 2022
News: Kallis Energy Investments has shelved plans to build the Malawians green hydrogen complex powered by wind and solar projects in the state of South Australia. The firm scrapped the proposal following a feasibility assessment citing unacceptable environmental and permitting risks associated with water supply and desalination. The proposed facility was likely to be powered by 3GW of solar and 3GW of wind capacity. The produced hydrogen was planned to be delivered to Port Bonython via a dedicated pipeline (Renewables Now).
