      Original Press Release:

June 1 -- Endesa issued the following news release:

Endesa, through its renewables division Enel Green Power Spain, has contracted Electro Rayma Renovables to deal with the operation and maintenance of three wind farms located in the municipality of Camariñas (A Coruña). This company has its headquarters in Carballo, near the facilities, a proximity that has influenced the selection, because Endesa gives priority to the local company in the development of its wind business.

The parks that Electro Rayma Renovables will deal with are Pena Forcada, Do Vilán and Viravento, whose power totals 52 megawatts. These plants were built 20 years ago. They are equipped with forty Bonus technology wind turbines, which were manufactured by Navantia at its Ferrol shipyard.

Endesa's relationship with the Carballo company is not new, both in the area and elsewhere. Even teams of technicians from the latter company have provided their services to the Enel Group, of which Endesa is a part, in various European countries. This has allowed Electro Rayma Renovables to gain prestige and technical solvency to consolidate itself throughout the sector as a qualified wind maintenance company.

The contract for Pena Forcada, Do Vilan and Viravento will last three years, and Endesa itself ensures the operation and preventive, minor corrective and major corrective maintenance services of the three Camariñas wind farms, located just over 50 kilometers from the headquarters of Electro Rayma Renovables in Carballo. Endesa has a firm commitment to share value with the territory where its plants are located and in this case it materializes with the commitment to the aforementioned local company, deeply rooted in the counties of Bergantiños and Terra de Soneira.

Endesa plans to strengthen its presence in the area. In fact, it is processing the installation of a new wind farm in Carballo, called Monte Neme, in which it will invest 18.4 million euros. It will consist of four wind turbines of 6 megawatts of unit power. Its construction will already generate a favorable impact on the business fabric of Bergantiños, which will continue later when the park comes into service, as is the case with the three whose management has just been entrusted to the Carbal company Electro Rayma Renovables.
