June 6 (Renewables Now) - Wind turbines generated 8.52%, or 77,881 MWh, of all electricity in France on June 5.
Power plants in the country produced 913,912 MWh for the whole day, based on live data by transmission system operator (TSO) RTE.
The country's solar power output for the day amounted to 60,393 MWh for a 6.61% share of total power generation.

On June 3, wind turbines supplied 54,851 MWh of electricity to France's grid, reaching a share of 5.12%. A day later, local wind parks generated 57,361 MWh of electricity, thus accounting for 5.94% of the total power output in the country for the day.
