Enel Starts Construction On 300MW Renewable Projects In Peru

News: Enel Green Power Peru, a unit of Italy-based Enel, has started the construction works on wind and solar projects with 300MW capacity in Peru. The first project, estimated to cost USD188.5mn, will come up in the department of Ica and it would comprise 30 units of 5.9MW wind turbines to add 177MW capacity to the Wayra I wind farm. The second project, estimated to cost USD77.9mn, will come up in the department of Moquegua and it will comprise the 122.6MW Clemesi solar power plant. Both the facilities are expected to be operational in 2023 (Renewables Now).
