    Tain and Fearn Free Church of Scotland community comes together in fundraiser after Tain man Liam Macdonald (23) was killed in Shetland Upper Kergord wind farm construction site incident last weekend

      A CHURCH is organising a fundraiser to support the family of a young Tain man killed in a workplace accident.

      Liam Macdonald (23) died in an incident at the Upper Kergord wind farm site in Shetland on Sunday, prompting a full investigation.

      Tain and Fearn Free Church of Scotland is running a collection to help support his family with members of the community able to donate at church on Sunday or by bank transfer.

      Reverend Alasdair MacAulay said there was a quick response from the community.

      "As soon as we heard the tragic news, people in the congregation were asking how they could help," he said.
