    PowerChina Huadong Engineering Corp Submits Patent Application for Offshore Wind Turbine Barrel-Shaped Foundation Structure for Coupling Culture Net Cage and Artificial Fish Reef and Integrated Construction Method Thereof

      Beijing, June 14 -- PowerChina Huadong Engineering Corp has submitted a patent application for offshore wind turbine barrel-shaped foundation structure for coupling culture net cage and artificial fish reef and integrated construction method thereof. Li Tao, Shen Kanmin, Jiang Zhenqiang, Wang Bin, Li Wei and Huan Caiyun developed the invention.

      The patent application number is CN201911290412 20191216. The patent publication number is CN112970643 (A). International Patent Classification codes are A01K61/60, A01K61/70, F03D13/20 and F03D13/25.       State Intellectual Property Office of China has released the abstract. According to the abstract, "The invention discloses an offshore wind turbine barrel-shaped foundation structure coupling a culture net cage and an artificial fish reef and an integrated construction method thereof, and relates to the field of offshore wind turbine foundations and marine ranches. The offshore wind turbine barrel-shaped foundation structure structurally comprises a tower drum, a transition section, a barrel-shaped foundation slab structure, a steel barrel body, a net cage bracket, a culture net cage, artificial fish reefs, a fish reef platform, a flexible mooring cable, a lifting lug, artificial sea grass and a stainless steel frame, the net cage bracket is arranged on the foundation transition section to form an annular marine ranch culture space; and the foundation slab structure is expanded to form the fish reef platform, and the artificial fish reefs are installed on the foundation slab structure and the fish reef platform. The structure is suitable for integrated development of an offshore wind turbine generator and a marine ranch, the sea area around the offshore wind turbine generator is fully utilized, the effects of intensively using the sea, reducing the construction cost, preventing foundation scouring and repairing the marine ecological environment are achieved, and the in-place stability of the culture net cage and the artificial fish reefs is improved."
