Construction Begins On Lenalea Wind Farm In Ireland

News: SSE Renewables, in partnership with FuturEnergy Ireland, has started the construction of the 30MW Lenalea wind farm project in Donegal, Ireland. The wind farm is located near the Meentycat Wind Farm and will generate enough renewable energy to power more than 20,000 homes. The delivery of turbines is due to start in March 2023 with installation of seven-units of Vestas Wind Systems' V117-4.2MW turbines in 4.3MW operating mode. Work is likely to be finished by late 2023, according to a press release from SSE Renewables.
