June 16 (Renewables Now) - With 50,103 MWh produced, wind accounted for 7.75% of the electricity generation in the UK on June 15.
Power plants in the country produced 646,733 MWh for the whole day, based on data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo).
The share of biomass power was 6.30%, with 40,758 MWh produced.
