BOAD Approves Financing For 42MWp Solar PV Project In Togo

News: The West African Development Bank (BOAD) has agreed to provide more than XOF25bn (USD40.1mn) financing to support the construction of a 42MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Togo. Called the Awandjélo solar project, the proposed PV facility will come up in the region of Kara and it would be delivered under a public-private partnership model. The power plant forms a part of International Finance Corporation's?Scaling Solar Initiative (Afrik21).
