    Clifford Chance advised on a wind farm financing transaction

      International law firm Clifford Chance advised a consortium of lenders consisting of DNB Bank, PZU and Santander Bank Polska on a facilities agreement with SPVs owned by DIF Capital Partners in relation to senior facilities (term loan, VAT facility and DSRF facility) and equity bridge loan facility granted by DNB Bank, in connection with the construction and operation of four wind farms with a total capacity of 108 MW.

      June 21 -- Clifford Chance issued the following news release:

      International law firm Clifford Chance advised a consortium of lenders consisting of DNB Bank, PZU and Santander Bank Polska on a facilities agreement with SPVs owned by DIF Capital Partners in relation to senior facilities (term loan, VAT facility and DSRF facility) and equity bridge loan facility granted by DNB Bank, in connection with the construction and operation of four wind farms with a total capacity of 108 MW.

      The Clifford Chance team advising on the financing included Andrzej Stosio (Partner), Irena Floras-Goode (Counsel), Natalia Karasiewicz (Associate), Piotr Weclawowicz (Associate), Aleksander Smakosz (Associate) and Joanna Korycinska. The hedging-related aspects of the transaction were covered by Andrzej Stosio (Partner) and Artur Gladysz (Associate). Jared Grubb (Partner) advised on the English law aspects of the transaction. Pawel Puacz (Partner), Izabela Cybulska (Senior Associate) and Aleksandra Bartoszewicz (Associate) advised the lenders on the regulatory aspects of the transaction and conducted the due diligence of the wind farms.
