Siemens Gamesa Wins Contract To Equip 882MW Scottish Offshore Wind Project

News: Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy has secured a contract to supply 882MW of turbines for Ocean Winds' (a 50-50 joint venture between EDP Renewables and Engie) Moray West offshore wind project off the coast of the Moray Council in Scotland. Under the contract, Siemens Gamesa will deliver 60 units of the SG 14-222 DD turbines, each of 14.7MW. The deal also includes a service agreement associated with the units. The installation of turbines is due to start in 2024, according to a press release from Siemens Gamesa.
