    Capstone Infrastructure to Invest USD278.3 million in Wild Rose 2 Wind Farm in Canada

      Capstone Infrastructure Corp, through its subsidiary Wild Rose 2 Wind LP, has agreed to invest CAD360 million in the construction and development of Wild Rose 2 wind farm located in Alberta, Canada. The total installed capacity of the wind farm is 192 MW. The investment per MW will be USD1.4 million

      The Wild Rose 2 wind farm will be constructed in Cypress County, Alberta, approximately 35 km southeast of Medicine Hat, and will benefit from the exceptionally high wind resource in the area. The construction is expected to begin later this year. Wild Rose 2 will generate approximately 200 person-years of employment during construction and offset approximately 340,000 metric tonnes of CO2e annually when commercial operation begins.
