Denmark: Feasibility studies to be initiated on Hesselø offshore wind farm

    June 28, 2022 - M-Brain Nordic News

The Danish Energy Agency (Energistyrelsen) has ordered Energinet, the owner of the Danish gas and electricity grid, to start feasibility studies regarding the Hesselø Offshore Wind Farm about the establishment of a land grid connection point. The Wind Farm is part of the 2019 Energy Agreement, which has been brought forward in the context of the Climate Agreement for Energy and Industry from June 2020. This means that it must be ready a year earlier than originally agreed, or in 2027, meaning that it will be completed at the same time as Thor offshore wind farm.
