    Shanghai Sunwin Bus Submits Chinese Patent Application for Electric Energy Management Method for Double-Source Trolley Bus During On-Grid Charging

      Beijing, June 28 -- Shanghai Sunwin Bus has submitted a patent application for electric energy management method for double-source trolley bus during on-grid charging. This invention was developed by Zhou Yi, Zhang Xiansheng and Zhang Jun.

      The patent application number is CN202110413649 20210416. The patent publication number is CN113002326 (A). International Patent Classification codes are B60L50/53, B60L53/62 and B60L9/00. Cooperative Patent Classification codes are B60L50/53 (CN), B60L53/62 (CN), B60L9/00 (CN), Y02T10/70 (EP), Y02T10/7072 (EP) and Y02T90/12 (EP).

      An abstract released by the State Intellectual Property Office of China states: "The invention discloses an electric energy management method for a double-source trolley bus during network charging. The method comprises the following steps: setting a battery charging current according to an SOC value of a battery, and when the SOC value is less than or equal to T1, setting the battery charging current as a standard charging current; when the SOC value is greater than T1 and is smaller than or equal to T3, setting the charging current of the battery to be gradually reduced along with the increase of the SOC value of the battery; when the SOC value is greater than T2, setting the charging current of the battery to be zero; and adding the set battery charging current and the real-time predicted value of the vehicle power consumption current to obtain a preparation set value of the isolated DC/DC output current, and determining a target set value of the isolated DC/DC output current according to the preparation set value; and setting the output current of the isolated DC/DC by using the target set value of the output current of the isolated DC/DC. According to the electric energy management method, normal running of the electric vehicle in the network can be guaranteed, and the service life of the battery is prolonged."
