    Al-Bakhiti reviews work progress of Electricity

      SANA'A, Jun.28 (Saba) - The Minister of Electricity and Energy, Dr. Muhammad Al-Bakhiti, was briefed on Tuesday on work progress in the Ministry of Electricity's office departments and the Electricity Corporation

      He heard from the directors of the departments and the concerned parties, a clarification on the nature of work, the obstacles facing the electricity sector, and the ways to overcome them.

      Dr. Al-Bakhiti urged the electricity sector employees to work in the spirit of one team to improve institutional work and advance this vital sector.

      The Minister of Electricity was also briefed on the progress of work in the departments and sections of the General Electricity Corporation.

      He heard from the General Director of the Corporation, Dr. Hashem Al-Shami, and the engineers and technicians an explanation of the Corporation's plans to expand the electric current and ensure its continuity all day.

      Minister Al-Bakhiti praised the Corporation's success in restoring the electricity supply to Hodeida province, especially in light of the Ministry and Corporation's direction to expand electricity lines and networks to cover the majority of areas in Sana'a and various provinces. He also pointed to the destruction and systematic targeting of the infrastructure of the electricity sector by the the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression forces.

      He commended the discipline he saw for the functional the institution cadres in carrying out the tasks entrusted to them... urging more efforts to complete the implementation of the drawn plans.
