    Kyrgyzstan : Investors from Spain are interested in the construction of a 100 MW hydroelectric power station in the Osh region.

      Spanish investors are interested in the construction of a hydroelectric power station in the Osh region, the regional administration reported.

      A tripartite memorandum with the participation of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Osh Region Ziyadin Jamaldinov, General Director of the Spanish company Ecoener Solar Ricardo Thomas Guerrero and private entrepreneur Adylbek Mirzamatov.

      As part of the memorandum, work will be carried out to study the most appropriate mechanism for the implementation of a hydropower project in the Kyrgyz Republic using renewable energy sources, it is planned to build hydroelectric power plants in the Osh region.

      According to the memorandum, it is also planned to finance the construction of solar panels with a total capacity of 100 MW in the Osh region.
