    Wind accounts for 5.16% of UK’s power output on Jun 30

      July 1 (Renewables Now) - With 32,912 MWh produced, wind accounted for 5.16% of the electricity generation in the UK on June 30.

      Overall electricity generation for the day stood at 637,976 MWh, data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo) shows.
