    France’s wind parks produce 7.48% of all electricity on Jul 31

      August 1 (Renewables Now) - The share of wind power in total power generation in France reached 7.48% on July 31 as wind turbines generated 64,380 MWh.

      Overall, electricity generation for the day stood at 860,402 MWh, live data by transmission system operator (TSO) RTE shows.

      Solar power accounted for 10.29% of the total output, with 88,573 MWh produced.

      The table below shows details on the generation by the different energy sources and their share in the country's mix.

      On July 29, wind accounted for 4.26% of the electricity generation in France, with 38,542 MWh produced.
