NEW YORK, Aug. 2 -- White and Case, a law firm, issued the following news release:
Global law firm White & Case LLP has represented Cubico Sustainable Investments, a leading renewable energy company, on its acquisition of two Uruguayan wind projects from ACS, wind farms 49 MW Kiyu in San Jose and 53 MW Pastorale in Flores, as well as Sowitec's minority shareholding position in 53 MW Pastorale.
The acquisition will increase Cubico's operational wind capacity in Uruguay to more than 200 megawatts, making it the largest private owner of renewable energy assets in the country, and significantly augmenting its business portfolio in the Latin America region.

The White & Case team was led by partners Juan Manuel de Remedios and Carlos Daroca, and included counsel Julio Peralta, and associates Laura Del Olmo Cuevas and Gracia Truan (all in Madrid).
