    France's wind farms generate 2.91% of all power on Aug 3

      August 4 (Renewables Now) - Wind farms in France produced 27,832 MWh on August 3, reaching a share of 2.91% in total power for the day.

      In all, France's power plants produced 957,050 MWh that day, based on live data by transmission system operator (TSO) RTE.

      Solar power plants generated 87,473 MWh, which is equal to a 9.14% share.

      The table below provides details on the generation by the different energy sources and their share in the country's mix.
