    UK’s wind farms produce 29.00% of all electricity on Aug 3

      August 4 (Renewables Now) - With 184,513 MWh produced, wind accounted for 29.00% of the electricity generation in the UK on August 3.

      Overall electricity generation for the day stood at 636,337 MWh, data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo) shows.

      The table below shows details on the generation by the different energy sources and their share in the country's mix.
