Banco Sabadell will finance the construction of Ansasol's photovoltaic plant in Andalusia with 30 million euros

    August 5, 2022 - CE Noticias Financieras

Ansasol, specialized in the development and construction of photovoltaic and green hydrogen plants, has reached a 30 million euro financing agreement with Banco Sabadell to build new solar farms in Andalusia.

The facilities will have a combined installed capacity of 69.5 MW and construction will start between the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023. The loan will represent a portion of the total investment in the projects.

"Banco Sabadell has provided us with a financing scheme adapted to our needs. The bank's understanding of this type of project has allowed us to rely on its proposal and thus make these two wind farms a reality, which will be part of our expansion and growth plan," said Tobias Greiling, CEO and Founder of Ansasol.

      More than 1,200 MW developed

During its 15 years of activity, Ansasol has developed more than 1,200 MW in Spain. Of particular note is the 150 MW Don Rodrigo farm (Seville), which at the time was the largest non-revenue photovoltaic farm in Spain. Furthermore, in April it announced that it will develop a project for a total of 440 MW of electrolysis capacity in Castilla y León for the production of green hydrogen.
