    August 7, 2022 - Al Bawaba Business

Recently, the 500 kV transmission project of Guodian Longtan Power Plant officially started construction. This project is a supporting project of the 1000kV Mengxi-Tianjinnan UHV AC power transmission and transformation project, and it is also the fifth energy supply project started by State Grid Inner Mongolia Eastern Electric Power Co., Ltd. this year.

It is understood that the 500 kV transmission project of Guodian Changtan Power Plant starts from the booster station of Guodian Changtan Power Plant and ends at the 1000 kV UHV Ordos Substation, with 16 new iron towers and a line length of 9 kilometers. The project is expected to be put into operation by the end of the year, and will be able to deliver 6.6 billion kWh of electricity to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region every year.
