Ergon Solair Plans To Develop KES6.4bn Solar PV Plant In Kenya

News: The Government of Kenya has granted all necessary approvals to Ergon Solair Africa, a unit of Ergon Solair PBC US, to start construction of a 40MW solar photovoltaic (PV) plant in the country. The KES6.4bn (USD53.74mn) power plant, called Kisumu Solar One, will come up on 2.4sq km site at Kibos. Commissioning of the PV plant is expected in December 2023 (Construction Kenya).
