Sweden: Hitachi Energy to hire about 1,000 employees in 2022

    August 9, 2022 - M-Brain Nordic News

Switzerland-based power grid developer Hitachi Energy, formerly known as Hitachi ABB Power Grids, plans to hire about 1,000 new employees in Sweden in 2022. Niklas Persson, EVP and MD of grid integration at Hitachi Energy, said that the company will expand and hire significant numbers of employees in the wake of Hitachi Energy having won a giant order regarding the Suedlink DC4 connection in Germany. He further commented that the recruitment of new employees is already underway and that the main plan is to hire staff to Ludvika and Västerås, which is where Hitachi Energy has the bulk of its Swedish operations.
