    Wind’s share in France’s power generation reaches 12.25% on Aug 9

      August 10 (Renewables Now) - The share of wind power in total power generation in France reached 12.25% on August 9 as wind turbines produced 122,972 MWh.

      Power plants in the country produced 1,003,875 MWh for the whole day, based on live data by transmission system operator (TSO) RTE.

      Solar power accounted for 8.75% of the total output, with 87,845 MWh produced.

      The table below shows details on the generation by the different energy sources and their share in the country's mix.
