    Scout Clean Energy and Elawan Energy to sell Persimmon Creek Wind Farm to Evergy

      United States-based Scout Clean Energy and its joint venture partner Elawan Energy are selling the 199-megawatt (MW) Persimmon Creek Wind Farm (Persimmon) in western Oklahoma to United States-based Evergy, Inc (NYSE: EVRG).

      The deal is valued at around USD250m.

      The sale of Persimmon Creek Wind Farm is likely to be completed in the first quarter of 2023 and is subject to closing conditions, including regulatory approvals. The legal advisor to Scout for the deal was McDermott Will & Emery LLP, and legal advisor to Evergy for the deal was Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.
