    August 10, 2022 - Trend News Agency

TEHRAN, Iran, August 10. Iran has synchronized the first power plant unit in the mining sector with its power network, said Deputy of Transmission Coordination in Tavanir Holding Company Zaman Hosseini, Trend reports citing IRNA.

The gas unit at the Semnan power plant, built last Iranian year (started on March 20,2021), with a 10,000 MW production capacity, which has been increased to 16,500 MW, was synchronized with the general power network.

The synchronization will raise the power plant's capacity by 183 MW, said Hosseini.

He pointed out that Semnan Gas Power Plant comprises two gas units with a capacity of 162 MW each (324 MW in total), while the construction of another unit is underway.
