    Wind farms produce 21.71% of UK’s electricity on Sep 6

      September 7 (Renewables Now) - Wind turbines produced 21.71%, or 154,744 MWh, of all electricity in the UK on September 6.

      Total power generation for the 24 hours arrived at 712,633 MWh, according to data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo).

      Generation data per power source is available in the table below.
