    Wind’s share in UK’s power generation reaches 18.33% on Sep 7

      September 8 (Renewables Now) - With 133,511 MWh produced, wind accounted for 18.33% of the electricity generation in the UK on September 7.

      Overall electricity generation for the day stood at 728,358 MWh, data by Elexon, the Balancing and Settlement Code Company (BSCCo) shows.

      Generation data per power source is available in the table below.
