Vena Energy Plans To Launch 1.8GW Offshore Wind Projects In Taiwan, China

News: Vena Energy, a portfolio company of Global Infrastructure Partners, has submitted proposals to develop two offshore wind projects as part of the third phase of offshore wind zonal development in Taiwan, China. The projects include the construction of the 1.2GW Wei-Na Offshore Wind facility on a 126sq km site off the coast of Miaoli County and the 600MW Wei-Long Offshore Wind facility on a 76sq km site outside Changhua County. The projects are likely to use large wind turbines with capacity between 14MW and 20MW, according to a press release from Vena Energy (Offshore WIND).
