Vestas takes order for 104 MW of wind turbines in Spain

    September 19, 2022 - SeeNews Renewables

September 19 (Renewables Now) - Denmark’s Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) has booked a contract to supply and install 104 MW of wind turbines for a project in Spain, it said on Monday.

Entity Estudios y Proyectos Pradamap SLU, part of Spanish wind energy promoter Grupo Vapat, placed the order, which includes delivery of 23 units of the V150-4.5 MW turbines and a ten-year Active Output Management (AOM 4000) service agreement.

Pradamap will use the machines for the Pinta y Guindalera wind farm project located in Valladolid province, in the Spanish region of Castile and Leon.

Vestas expects to deliver the turbines and start commissioning in 2023.
