    North Korean TV shows power plants, power distribution station

      Text of report by state-run North Korean satellite TV on 17 September

      The daily newscast at 1100 gmt 17 September on Pyongyang Korean Central Television (KCTV) via satellite in Korean carried an approximately two-minute announcer-read report over video on news from the electric power sector. The following is a summary of the report and images from the accompanying video:

      At Pukch'ang Thermal Power Complex, repair and maintenance of generating equipment is being properly carried out by adopting new technical innovations.
