Opdenergy Secures Approval To Sell Output From 160MWp Solar PV Farm In Louisiana, US

News: Opdenergy has secured approval from the Louisiana Public Service Commission to sell electricity from its 160MWdc solar photovoltaic (PV) farm in the US state of Louisiana. Entergy Lousiana, a subsidiary of Entergy, has a 20-year power purchase agreement in place to secure 100% of the output from the Elizabeth solar PV farm. The plant is likely to have the capacity to generate 302GWh of renewable energy per year. Construction for the farm is slated to start in early 2023, with grid connection scheduled for H124, according to a press release from Opdenergy.
