News: Stanwell and RES have unveiled plans to develop a 500MW wind farm in Australia. Called Tarong West, the proposed wind farm will be located 30km south-west of Kingaroy. Subject to board and shareholding minister approval, Stanwell can receive AUD776.0mn (USD504.03mn) via the Queensland Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Jobs Fund. The wind farm is expected to produce energy to serve around 230,000 homes. Construction is expected to start in 2024 with commercial operations scheduled to start from 2026, according to a press release from Stanwell.
