BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 27. The electricity generation of the Iran's Eslamabad-e-Gharb Thermal Power Plant in the Kermanshah Province (western Iran) increased by 11 percent during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Executive Director of Bistoon Power Generation Management Company Masoud Mirza Asghari said, Trend reports citing Iranian Energy Ministry.

According to Mirza Asghari, the Eslamabad-e-Gharb TPP generated more than 317 million kilowatt-hours of electricity in 6 months.

“Meanwhile, in the 6th month of the current Iranian year (August 23 through September 22, 2022), alone the power plant generated about 59.2 million kilowatt-hours of electricity, which is an increase of 2 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year,” he added.

Of the total generated electricity in the 6th month, 59 million kilowatt-hours were supplied to the Iran’s electricity network, the director said.
