    Wind accounts for 12.44% of France’s power output on Oct 2

      October 3 (Renewables Now) - Wind farms in France generated 113,046 MWh on October 2, reaching a share of 12.44% in total power for the day.

      In all, France's power plants produced 908,544 MWh that day, based on live data by transmission system operator (TSO) RTE.

      With 47,541 MWh produced, the share of solar power stood at 5.23%.

      On September 30, wind turbines in France produced 8.95%, or 91,920 MWh, of all electricity in the country. A day later, they supplied 244,910 MWh for a share of 23.84%.
