    Wind & solar share in France’s power hits 22% on Oct 05

      October 6 (Renewables Now) - The share of wind power in total generation in France reached 16.18% on October 5, while solar farms contributed 5.79%.

      Wind turbines across the country generated 162,243 MWh that day, based on live data by transmission system operator (TSO) RTE, and photovoltaic (PV) panels produced 58,044 MWh.

      The country's total power output reached 1,002,922 MWh.

      The table below shows details on the generation by different energy sources and their share in the Wednesday mix.
