The plant will be used to reduce carbon emissions from transportation and to accelerate the transition to cleaner energy. The plant will take biogas from municipal waste and wastewater treatment plants, and convert it into usable bioLNG. It will be the first facility of its kind capable of simultaneously producing bioLNG and biomethane.
