Ukraine energy operator says reports on total blackout fake

Ukraine's power grid operator Ukrenerho has denied that there are plans for a total blackout in the country following recent destructive missile strikes by Russia.

"Dubious Telegram channels use the logo of the Ukrenerho company to spread fake information, in particular, about the complete or partial blackout of the country. This information is not true!" the operator said on Telegram on 17 November.

It added that the fake reports are used sow panic among the Ukrainian population.
