Power outages in Cartagena and Bolivar in early December

This week December arrives and with it the Christmas season, which for some municipalities of Bolivar and neighborhoods of Cartagena will start with power outages.

This was announced by Afinia, which has scheduled activities to optimize its networks at the end of November and beginning of December, when it will interrupt its services (Video: This is how Christmas was inaugurated in Cartagena).

The maintenance programs are as follows:

Wednesday, November 30: from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. technical adjustments will be made to the line that supplies power to the urban and rural areas of Morales, Simití, Santa Rosa del Sur and San Pablo. Power service will be suspended in these municipalities.

The line that supplies energy to Calamar, San Estanislao, Arroyohondo, San Juan Nepomuceno, El Guamo, San Jacinto, San Cristóbal and Soplaviento will be without service from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the work.

There will also be maintenance and renewal of elements in the Talaigua Nuevo 1 circuit from 8:20 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. During these hours, the urban area of the municipality of Talaigua Nuevo will remain without service.

Thursday, December 1: preventive pruning will be carried out and new elements will be installed in the circuit that supplies energy to the rural area of Magangué. As a result of these works, from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the villages of El Cuatro, Florencia, Juan Arias, Las Chichas and Numancia will be without power.
