    Power outages in Cartagena and Bolivar in early December

      This week December arrives and with it the Christmas season, which for some municipalities of Bolivar and neighborhoods of Cartagena will start with power outages.

      This was announced by Afinia, which has scheduled activities to optimize its networks at the end of November and beginning of December, when it will interrupt its services (Video: This is how Christmas was inaugurated in Cartagena).

      The maintenance programs are as follows:

      Wednesday, November 30: from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. technical adjustments will be made to the line that supplies power to the urban and rural areas of Morales, Simití, Santa Rosa del Sur and San Pablo. Power service will be suspended in these municipalities.

      The line that supplies energy to Calamar, San Estanislao, Arroyohondo, San Juan Nepomuceno, El Guamo, San Jacinto, San Cristóbal and Soplaviento will be without service from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the work.

      There will also be maintenance and renewal of elements in the Talaigua Nuevo 1 circuit from 8:20 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. During these hours, the urban area of the municipality of Talaigua Nuevo will remain without service.

      Thursday, December 1: preventive pruning will be carried out and new elements will be installed in the circuit that supplies energy to the rural area of Magangué. As a result of these works, from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the villages of El Cuatro, Florencia, Juan Arias, Las Chichas and Numancia will be without power.

      Friday, December 2: In the urban and rural areas of El Carmen de Bolívar and San Jacinto, technical adjustments will be made between 7:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., during which time there will be no service in the urban area of El Carmen de Bolívar, the sectors adjacent to the El Carmen de Bolívar - Zambrano road; La Gloria, El Paraíso, Las Mochilas, San José, Barrio Arriba, El Centro, Santander, San Rafael, Sucre, Santa Ana, Miraflores, Ocho de Diciembre, Porvenir, La Campesina, Campo Alegre, Urbanización Los Portales, Barrio Abajo, San José, Candelilla, Torices, Nuevo Horizonte, Loma del Viento, Buena Vista, El Siete, El Recreo in San Jacinto; as well as sectors adjacent to the El Carmen de Bolívar - San Jacinto road.

      4 circuits in Cartagena will undergo maintenance on December 4

      Sunday, December 4: maintenance will be performed on the high voltage line, the power transformer and other technical actions will be carried out at the Zaragocilla substation in Cartagena, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Therefore, power service will be interrupted in the following circuits:

      Zaragocilla Circuit 6: Almirante Colón, Buenos Aires, El Country, La Troncal, Los Caracoles, Los Corales, Urb. Camaguey, Las Delicias, El Carmen, Rubí, Urb. Villa Margarita and Villa Country neighborhoods.

      Zaragocilla Circuit 8: Escallón Villa, Los Ejecutivos and Los Ángeles neighborhoods.

      Zaragocilla Circuit 9: Jardines de Junio, La India, Villa de los Alpes, Conjunto Residencial Torre de Los Alpes, Los Alamos, San José Obrero, Chapacua, Urb. Castillete, Olaya Herrera sectors La Puntilla, Playa Blanca, Boston, Tesca and Olaya Police Station.

      Zaragocilla 10 Circuit: neighborhoods 9 de Abril, La Campiña, 20th Street between Carreras 50A and 50B, diagonal 30 between transversals 42 and 44, as well as Carrera 49F with Carrera 50.

      Also, adjustments will be made at the Zambrano substation from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Due to these works, service will be interrupted in Zambrano and Córdoba (Bolívar); and in the municipality of Plato (Magdalena).
