    Schlumberger to contribute to energy transition in Azerbaijan - Managing Director

      BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 29. Schlumberger is going to contribute to Azerbaijan's transition to 'clean' energy, Managing Director Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan at Schlumberger Maria Yunda told Trend.

      "Our purpose is to reach a zero level of emissions in the countries where we work including Azerbaijan," said Yunda.

      According to her, the priorities of the company in decarbonization and the transfer to renewable technology correlate with the purposes of the Azerbaijan Caspian Hydrogen Development Group company.

      She added that SLB company is ready to support Azerbaijan and local energy companies in this field.

      "Today, our company is interested in the wind power station project in Garadagh, and we evaluate the opportunities of participation in this project as well as our key role in this partnership," she added.

      Maria Yunda noted that a total of 90 percent of employees in the Azerbaijan branch of SLB are citizens of the country.
