The deficit of electricity in Ukraine reached 30% as of 1100 (0900 gmt) on 29 November (compared to 27% on 28 November), the national power grid operator Ukrenerho has said on Telegram.
"The rise in power shortages has been caused by emergency shutdowns at several power plants on Monday morning, as well as the further increase in consumption due to the deteriorating weather," the company said.
Ukrenerho noted that electricity suppliers have been informed about the limits on power consumption in each region.
