Azerbaijan aims to increase the production capacity of the wind farm in Garadagh

    November 30, 2022 - Turan Information Agency

Baku/30.11.22//Turan: Azerbaijan aims to increase the production capacity of the wind farm in Garadagh to 1500 MW in the near future, Adviser to the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Emil Majidov said yesterday at an event "Green Hydrogen and Renewable Energy".

"We support the energy project for the construction of a wind farm in Garadagh together with the private sector, in particular with the Azerbaijan Investment Company," Majidov said.

According to him, such projects will help Azerbaijan achieve energy efficiency and introduce "green technologies" in this area.

"We are glad that such projects attract international financial institutions to our country," Majidov added.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan Investment Company OJSC, Caspian HDG LLC and the Spanish company "Elecnor", specializing in the field of alternative and renewable energy, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the implementation of the Garadagh wind farm project. -0
