    Sweden: Grid operators reports decreased electricity use

      Figures from Swedish electricity grid company Ellevio based on its own customers show decreased electricity use in recent months. The decrease in households is the most noted in the regions of Bohuslän, Skaraborg and Örebro with decreases of up to 25% in October 2022. Jesper Liveröd, press manager at Ellevio, expects even larger decreases in November 2022. In general, households in single-family houses and row houses have decreased their electricity use the most. Electricity grid operator Eon has also reported decreaed electricity use. Jessica Krook at Eon says that its customers in the north have reduced consumption by 9% in September and 12% in October compared to the same months in 2021. In Stockholm, there were decreases of 19% in September and 18% in October.
