    Finland: Winda Energy proposes 20-30 wind turbines for North Ostrobothnia

      Finnish wind farm developer Winda Energy proposes an onshore wind farm with up to 20-30 wind turbines for North Ostrobothnia in Finland. Up to 14-21 wind turbines will be installed in Alavieska, up to 5-8 wind turbines in Kalajoki and up to 5-8 wind turbines in Ylivieska. A new 110-kV or 400-kV substation is to be built in the project area for the electricity transmission. The Verkasalo wind farm will be connected to Herrfors Nät's grid at the Kalliomaa substation or to Fingrid's grid at a new substation to be built in Sievi. The North Ostrobothnia Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centre) has published its statement on the environmental impact assessment programme.
