Bosnia's Canton 10 to seek concessionaire for 90 MW wind farm

December 6, 2022 - SeeNews Power Market Review

SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 6 (SeeNews) - The government of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Canton 10 said it has decided to seek a concessionaire for the construction of the 90 MW Orlokuk wind power plant in Tomislavgrad.

The canton will work out a procedure for the selection of a concessionaire for the construction of the wind farm, the cantonal government said in a press release on Monday.

In November, Canton 10 said it has decided to seek a concessionaire for the construction of the 80 MW Ljubusa wind power plant in Tomislavgrad. In October, the cantonal government signed a 30-year concession contract with local company Concordia for the construction of a 29.9 MW wind farm near Tomislavgrad.

Canton 10 is one of ten cantons that form the Federation, one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other entity is the Serb Republic.
